BayesFusion provides artificial intelligence modeling and machine learning software based on Bayesian networks. Our software runs on desktops, mobile devices, and in the cloud. We also offer training, scientific consulting, and custom software development.
- Our flagship product is GeNIe Modeler, a tool for artificial intelligence modeling and machine learning with Bayesian networks and other types of graphical probabilistic models. If you are new to Bayesian networks, please read the following introductory article.
- Our software library, SMILE Engine, allows for including our methodology in customers’ applications, which can be written in a variety of programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, Java, .NET, R, Matlab).
- Models created with GeNIe and/or SMILE can be easily shared and used on mobile devices with BayesMobile, or through a web browser with BayesBox. BayesBox also powers our interactive Bayesian repository.

- Diagnosis and Prognosis
Diagnosis is one of the most successful applications of Bayesian networks. Our software offers a complete solution for diagnostic applications, both in machine and medical diagnosis. In addition to calculation of probabilities of various faults, disorders, and most likely future failures, our software manages diagnostic cases, rank-orders possible tests and observations from the most to least valuable based on their cost and value of information. Field deployment is straightforward through our mobile diagnostic app.
- Data Science
Mark Twain once wrote: “A man who does not read has no advantage over a man who cannot read.” A man who does not analyze his data has no advantage over a man who has no data. We offer modern data science methodologies to help our customers with their data analytics needs. While Bayesian methodologies are capable of capturing expert knowledge, having data makes the resulting models more accurate. With sufficient amount of data, models can be built automatically.

Decision-theoretic approach is about optimality. Anybody can make a decision but it is the detail that matters in the competitive world. Our software allows for modeling of organizations and calculating the optimal policies to achieve a desired objective. Causal discovery procedures allow for learning the structure of a system and finding what drives it. Once we know the drivers, we can find which of them are most effective in achieving the objectives.
